CapLens exists because investment teams should not have to choose between a spreadsheet they cannot audit and a platform they cannot adapt.
Why we built it
Portfolios that span several markets, currencies and custodians are hard to see clearly. Positions live in different places, returns are calculated differently in different reports, and research sits in tools that never meet the live book. CapLens brings these together on one data model, so every screen, report and analysis agrees with the others.
It started as a working investment platform built around the realities of multi-currency portfolios, corporate actions and reconciliation, and has grown to cover performance reporting, quant research, an intelligence layer and private equity.
Principles we design to
Traceable by default
Every number should be explainable from lots, transactions and snapshots. If you cannot trace it, you cannot trust it.
Honest about uncertainty
Quant Lab shows bias audits, thin samples and unavailable data instead of hiding them behind a confident score.
People stay in control
AI explains and flags. Posting, approving and deciding remain human actions with an audit trail.
Global from day one
Native currencies, local decimals and Gulf, Asian, European and US markets are first-class, not add-ons.
